Going out. It’s important. The very reason why Skiddle was founded was to unite people that love events. If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that going out gives us normality, a chance to let go and connect with our community. But is it more than that?

S3 Ep1 - Yousef
Monday May 24, 2021
Monday May 24, 2021
We’re back. It’s series 3 and times have already changed since our last episode with the further lift in restrictions, allowing mixing indoors, indoor hospitality, and live entertainment… If you’ve been hiding under a rock (no judgement from us btw) then you might not have heard about the recent government pilot events in Liverpool, and two of these dates were organised by DJ, promoter, producer and record label owner, Yousef. This is why our first episode for series 3 of The Going Out Podcast, had to be with him.
We started the conversation by talking about Yousef’s time growing up in Crosby and his first going out experiences in the area and then into Liverpool (does ‘The G’ mean anything to you?). Our conversations led us to chat about the iconic CREAM night at Nation where Yousef shared tales from the crowd and DJ decks, and then of course, his own night; CIRCUS.
We loved this conversation for many reasons, the main one being the conversation being so uplifting and positive after a strange 18 months in the music and events scene. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Charlie Hedges presents Skiddle Podcast 005 - Guest Mix Purple Disco Machine
Wednesday Apr 27, 2016
Wednesday Apr 27, 2016
We've dedicated our latest podcast to the party capital of the world - Ibiza. Our host Charlie Hedges has been chatting to some of the key artists who will be playing on on the island this season, and as always she's delivered some of the best new house music.
Spotlighted as our artist of the month this time round is Josh Butler, who is gearing up for another residency at Tribal Sessions at Sankeys Ibiza this season. We've quizzed him on the upcoming summer plans and also featured one of his latest releases on Cajual Records.
We've got Intec label manager and Music Is Revolution regular Jon Rundell as our classic track selector. Ahead of the last Carl Cox at Space Ibiza season, we asked him about the difficult decision made by the team and asked him to pick a defining dance track that means a lot to him, unsurprisingly it brings back memories of an Ibiza experience.
To round things off this month, Glitterbox resident Purple Disco Machine has put together a mix for us. Filled with his signature disco grooves, it's a suitable showcase for the music that will make Space Ibiza come to life every Friday.
As well as all those features, we've got music from the likes of Gorgon City, Prok & Fitch, CamelPhat and Man Without A Clue.

Charlie Hedges is back with the third installment of our monthly podcast. As expected, she's delivered another show filled with the hottest quality house music from across the world, spotlighting some of our favourite DJs along the way.
The episode features music from the likes of Franky Rizardo, Doorly, Dale Howard (who provided the guest mix for Skiddle Podcast 002) and Riva Starr.
We've also spotlighted 99 Souls as our artist of the month following a giant year for them after the success of their mash up of Destiny's Child's 'Girl' and Brandy & Monica's 'The Boy Is Mine', which has had the remix treatment from Danny Howard and Chris Lorenzo to name just a few.
This podcast also features Graeme Park, who picked a seminal classic track for our feature ahead of the Hacienda Classical event at Lancaster's Williamsons Park. It's topped off with a guest mix from energetic, bass-heavy house lovers Tough Love, who are currently championing established and upcoming talent on their Get Twisted Records label.
