Going out. It’s important. The very reason why Skiddle was founded was to unite people that love events. If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that going out gives us normality, a chance to let go and connect with our community. But is it more than that?

S1 Ep1 - Solardo

Sunday Nov 29, 2020
To start the podcast off with a bang, who else better to speak to than a firm favourite at Skiddle, Solardo. Hailing from Manchester, production duo Mark Richards & James Eliot, collectively known as Solardo, are continuing the city's rich heritage in house music. We speak to one half of the duo, Mark, about growing up in Fallowfield, going to his first night out at the Hacienda, getting robbed at Drum & Bass raves, and partying in Vegas with Idris Elba.
Starting his career in the industry under a plethora of names including ‘Basse’, Mark chats about the transition from producing dubstep to house tunes, meeting James, working tirelessly on his music and attending events across the UK and Europe to see other DJs playing their songs.
