In this episode we feature an exclusive mix from mancunian band, Delphic
Delphic formed in 2009 and are a three piece band hailing from a leafy suburb of Stockport, Manchester. Their debut album, Acolyte, was released in 2010 to critical acclaim and resulted in them playing at all the major festivals including Creamfields, T in the Park and Glastonbury as well as a number of uk and european tours. Tracks from that album have been featured on major TV shows as well as mixes of the tracks being supported by the cream of dance DJ's. Their new album, Collections, was released in January this year with one of the tracks, Good Life, selected as an official track for the London Olympics. The new album took a new turn musically and was produced by DFA's Tim Goldsworth and Ben Allen, they are currently on a european tour promoting the album.
This exclusive podcast mix gives a taste of what makes the band tick and is certainly dance floor friendly. They will be playing at various festivals across the summer including Liverpool Sound City and Leefest and you can get tickets for both of them now on Skiddle

Audiowhores are the acclaimed Manchester-based DJ, remix and production duo of Graham Lord and Adam Unsworth. Their high-quality production and remix work for labels including Defected, Soulfuric and their own Tempogroove imprint has positioned them at the forefront of the UK's house scene. They have travelled the world playing at festivals and clubs and forthcoming gigs include History of House in Manchester, Pacha in London, Nightflower in Berlin and Sunday people in Berlin.
Supperclub started life in Amsterdam and now is located all across the world including Los Angeles, Istanbul and London. It is no ordinary restaurant, they specialise in mixing food, music, art and performance and every night is different. The Playhouse masked ball takes over this Notting Hill restaurant for one night only with Grant Nelson, Martin Ikin and Audiowhores.

Venus started life as Manchester’s best loved night out, fulfilling the promoter’s mantra that it’s all about quality, rather than quantity. After a decade in Manchester, the team behind Venus took the brave step to open their very own nightclub. Venus opened at the beginning of 2010 with a fanfare of funk and quickly found a home in the very heart of Manchester’s club scene.
John Dahlback brings his Mutant Nights to Venus for the first time. Mutant is John's record label and in just three years it has established itself as a global force with over 20 releases from the likes of Avicii, Tommy Trash and John himself, as well as his fellow label mate who is playing on the night, Lunde Bros. He travels the world playing his trademark big room sound and has also remixed for tracks for Lady Gaga, Nicole Featuring 50 Cent, Skylar Gray, David Morales and Sneaky Soundsystem.

Head honcho of Fire it Up, Eddie Halliwell is finally back at Digital after the sellout out show in October 2011. 2012 has been another huge year for Eddie, with the release of the spectacular Toolroom Knights album, his own Fire it Up arena at Creamfields and 5 week residency at Croatian super club Papaya to name just a few of the highlights.
Joining Eddie and making his North East debut is musical prodigy Zedd. After signing for Interscope his latest albums first release "Spectrum," featuring Matthew Koma, has garnered massive global attention, climbing into the Top 10 of iTunes dance charts, holding the number one spot on Beatport Worldwide for almost three weeks and was ultimately named their Dance Club Song of the year. Zedd has performed at major festivals, including Ultra, Electric Daisy Carnival, and Nocturnal and in 2012, he performed at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Hard Summer in Los Angeles, and Electric Zoo in New York. Zedd was also chosen to be the only opening act for the Asian leg of Lady Gaga's world stadium-tour "The Born This Was Ball”, and will rejoin her for the American leg in the spring this year.

DJ Paulette has established her 'Bang' club night as a key ingredient in the social scenes of Paris and Ibiza. She describes it as an open minded musical showcase of "deep house baby makers and funked up future disco grooves", collected from both Paulette's considerable 20 year DJ career and the varied record bags of the new and established talent that she carefully selects to join her. She is making a return to her homeland of Manchester and 2022NQ for a bi monthly party with the first one being free entry!
2022nq opened in spring 2012 and has quickly established itself in the underground art, cultural and music scene. A basement space in the Northern Quarter of Manchester it's a hybrid gallery and music venue that has already hosted DJ sets from Disclosure, Horse Meat Disco, Justin Robertson as well as a sell out New Year's Eve party with Greg Wilson. Supporting DJ Paulette on the night will be Richie Ferg with visuals by Doodlebug. In this episode we feature a mix from Mr G who is playing at a huge party in London which runs from New Year's Eve through to New Year's Day afternoon.
Mr G is a scene veteran and was one half of techno duo, The Advents and part of house collective KCC sound system back in the 90's. His most recent album, State of Flux, was released on the Rekids label and showcases his tech funk sound that he is now known for. The man himself says his sound is all about a bassline, the music takes the formula of a ballad and the movement of reggae. He appears on NYE & NYD at LWE & Jaded alongside label mate, Nina Kraviz.
London Warehouse Events (LWE) began life in 2010 by putting on a huge sold out event with Eric Prydz in Great Suffolk St warehouse. Since then they have hosted parties all over London with premier DJ's such as Skrillex, Carl Cox, Pendulum and Sven Vath. For their NYE/NYD party they have hooked up with underground after hours party organisers Jaded. This party runs from 8pm on NYE through to 2pm on NYD with Nina Kraviz, Mr G and Raymundo Rodriguez.
